BUENOS AIRES | Underground

This is the construction of the new Line H in Buenos Aires Metro System.
It will be finished next year.

They say mid-2006. As you can see, it's perfectly plausible since the construction is almost finished.

@Accura_Preston: hey, remember it's not finished yet!! all the decorations are missing, and some details still have to be polished!

It's very nice, but a bit sterile. Then again, I wish we could get something like this in New York.

I like it. Subways are great. Love the HUGE tunnels going everywhere throughout the city underground.

The only thing missing are platform screen doors. Otherwise, everything is as first world and as modern as they can get...

How about the trains? What do they look like? Fare gates?

i don't like screen doors. they make the stations so claustrofobic

if the screen door have to be placed then maybe some kind of 'half-screen-doors' as there are such things in Nagoya

Its normal the line is new.

London, Paris, New York ... subway are old then they are normal that there is no elevator everywhere.

in the new lines it is obligatory (I think so)

As far as I see on urbanrail.net, it´s 5 new stations, right? When will the rest of line H be built?
