What kind of signal system does the Subway use? And what % of the Commuter Rail Network still uses Semaphores?

The lines B, D, E and H Have Automatic Train Protection (by Alstom), the line A uses a mixed sistem between this and the Automatic Train Stop, the C line uses only ATS but is planned change it for CBTC.

The commuter rail uses:

Linea Roca: Japanese ATP all branchs except the service La Plata (in works ATS), Temperley - Haedo Stations and Chascomus services.
Linea Mitre: Chinese ATP in colocation in all branchs, middle distance branchs semaphores
Linea Sarmiento: Chinese ATP, middle distance branchs semaphores.
Linea Belgrano Norte, Urquiza, Sur and San Martin: Semaphores (40-60's)

The Japanese ATP have 4 aspects in the semaphores and the chinese three.

How many km has the subway of Bs As?
Are subway lines integrated to commuter train service?
How much is a single metro ride?

USD seems to go very far in Argentina. Are there any plans to upgrade the level crossings which seem to be in a run down state.

Yes but it's founds question, the most critical level crossings (avenues) in works today but not all, the city of Buenos Aires build various overpasses, and in the province depends each county.

The actual prices in subways, buses and commuter rails are stupid ( the commuter rail and the buses are strongly subsidized by Federal goverment (USD 1.5 billion) and the subways for the City of Buenos Aires) the real prices reach 1-2 USD in the first section.

I think the concrete poles are ugly. Very Soviet Era style poles... They should of went with a more standard steel pole.

Yes, but the japanese technology uses concrete poles, the steel poles in catenary are used only in Constitución Station access and special points.

In Temperley Station (old picture)

The central poles for Sarandi Viaduct this poles are special have two sections assambled: the first it's a base and half of pole and the catenary supports the second section.

Why didn't they use the standard concrete poles?

The weight is a major problem and the lack of spaces for placement.

Ah , I was just about to ask about that. Are new trains being bought to switch between the different electrification systems?
