Yesterday president Macri, along with transport minister Dietrich and former transport minister Randazzo inaugurated the electrification of the Constitucion - La Plata branch of the Roca line up until Quilmes station. Minister Randazzo had conducted around 95% of the project during Kirchner's government and that's why he was invited. The remaining 5% is to be completed in the next months. The service will open to the public tomorrow Monday at 5am.

Although Buenos Aires is the oldest metro system in Entire South America, but now not the largest, because development of the network was stopped in fifties. However, recently it is growing satisfactorily. At last the northern extension of Line H towards Las Heras has opened now. But hence Santa Fe station still has not opened, interchange with line D is not possible now. I hope this station should be opened as soon as possible, and after that line H will link line A, B, D & E , an will be the busiest & most important line of entire metro system.

In future this line will be extended in north towards Facultad de Derecho, and in south towards Saenz. I heard that the northern extension will be opened in 2017, but when will the southern extension be opened?

Also Line E will be extended in north towards Retiro, but lack of government interest has slowed down the extension, will it also be opened in 2017? It is more urgent because this extension will partly clear the overcrowded Retiro metro station.

But this will be not the end, in future, line H will also be extended towards Retiro, then the problem will be solved completely because then Retiro will be served by 3 metro lines – C, E & H.

Beside this construction of line F must be started in 2016. Line G should be finalized between one or two years, and Metrobus (BRT) is even not measurable for the replacement of line I. We want Line I metro line, not a weak and insufficient BRT as an alternative.

Yep, Subway (Metro) is growing in extension really slow. Or, cold-slow, i could say. But, that aside, consider that Buenos Aires have a Metro plus a lot of metropolitan trains (about 800 Km. the last ones),while other cities in Latin America have longer Metros, but lack of conmutter trains.

Santa fe maybe the next month, and Facultad de Derecho we don't know but we suppose that in 2018 maybe or at the end of 2017.

Nice job!
Just a correction to make: Scalabrini Ortiz station from Belgrano Norte railroad was closed in in 2015 and replaced by the new station Ciudad Universitaria, located about 800 more meters to the north.
