I heard this news on TVK.
Borey Korch Asia = Asia Pearl Town.
Very interesting. The tallest hotel in Cambodia will not be in Phnom Penh.

The lack of a functional international airport is still going to be a problem to boost the tourism industry in Sihanoukville.

having an international airport for Sihanoukville is a dream, but seriously who wants to go there, theres Bali, Phuket and so many other coastal areas thats are more famous. For me i think Koh Kong is the best in Cambodia.

Many backpackers in Cambodia usually stay one or two nights in Sihanoukville. It has one of the best clubbing scenes in Cambodia and beer is cheap over there

I think middle class Cambodians can afford these houses as their holiday home. The road are all paved and in good condition, plus it is not far from Phnom Penh.

is catch 22,
you don't want to go because it is not famous and no one else want to go there, but it has the potential to be as famous as Bali and Phuket once you make getting there easier.

it isn't far, but the road in between is quite dangerous, everyone is looking at oppostunity to overtake each others, since majority of highway 4 is single lane, overtake involved driving agaist coming traffic, and when the looser know it could not make it, they push themselve in. I have even see looser overtake a vechile that is ovetaking, driving in the dirt on the opposite of the road.

highway 4 (and other highway) need dual lane from end to end.

Please don't mention Phuket! It is not worth it! I rather go to Bali! Koh Kong will become famous in the future!

Anyone has the latest construction progress on this project? Since it is a Cambodian funded project, I have high confidence that it will be completed.

It does not look like the one in the picture. However, it does look to be like a big project. There are a number hotels under construction in the city.

If you look at it in the video, it has no wings or it "L" shape.
