Actually, location is perfect. Its right infront of the main waterfront in AD, I cant think of a better place for such a project!!

Does anybody plan on doing this tower on sketchup?

wow, this is a very nice tower, i quite like it. i think the only part thats not so good about the design is how big the gap is towards the top, i think it should resemble the bottom a little more. they should have 3 large joining sections and then sorta sky-bridge at the top.

Oh, just to let everyone know. Although the tower is pretty much guaranteed to be built, it isn't planned to start until 2013 at the earliest.
"Guaranteed to be built" ??? Really ?? by who? please verify/evidence this statement - or is this a "Dubai real estate agent" style guarantee ???

Start in 2013 ???? are you sure? bridges on and off first, roads & infra, low density housing, resorts, hotels.....then a tower....maybe.
all that in 2/3 years?
add 10 years and you may go close.
It isn't 2006/2008 anymore

this tower will probably one of the first things on the island to start construction as it will take the longest. I think that 2013 is very reasonable, as long as the island construction is kept on track

and with that statement you have demonstrated that you clearly have no idea about real estate development.

what am i talking about?
perhaps the comments made about when something will or will not start based on random uninformed observations made by those who maybe sitting on the other side of the world with no idea of the realities of this market, the participants and basic development fundamentals.

What the hell are you talking about?
And what are you all so upset and indignant about tough guy?

I agree on his rationale, it does state that once everyone starts building towers all over, the end of the world is closing in.

Any reason to keep this thread alive? Will remove it in case nobody answers either.
