guy4 does not have any taste . So many better mosques in Middle East countries with real (not fake) decoration.

Today it is very easy to make concrete dome and concrete pillars. Real supporting domes and arch is the true brilliance which he cannot understand.

With modern construction methods the value of this ancient design becomes nothing. Just imitation for sake of imitation.

Yes opinion is good. But opinion also have limit. Somebody say hut made of soil most beautiful. Other person say some thing also.

If somebody make new Taj Mahal with concrete, then that become most beautiful building? I do not think so. Taj Mahal is unique. So like that Real islamic mosque also unique.

but this mosque is not "hut made soit"..this mosque is still has its own beauty, and comparable..u say taj mahal is pretty because its build from material bla..bla..but i think most of people judge it from it fame, historical value and how old this building, that has not relatated with beauty factor..u blind by it material..i dont say it ugly,i love it,i hate person who underestimate others opinion,BEAUTY IS NOTHING TO DO WITH FAKE!

I agree with guy4. A building doesn't have to be older to be more beautiful. I know numerous modern buildings with good materials which i think are more beautiful than some ancient piles of stone.

Sorry, but that mosque is okay. Not most beautiful.

Maybe next time somebody build copy of Pantheon with plastic sheet and call it "most beautiful building".

What do you think about Goharshad Turquoise Mosque?

Taj Mahal was built for a women but almost two times older than it, Goharshad mosque was built by a woman, Goharshad was the daughter-in-law of Timur, she ordered to use the largest blue gem Turquoise mine in the world which was located near Mashhad, to build a huge mosque as beautiful as the blue sky:

Sorry, those Malay mosques are not the world's most beautiful buildings. They're not ugly, but there are much more beautiful ones in the world. Istanbul's mosques come to mind.

Historic / All-time: definitely the Taj Mahal. The setting, architecture, detail, material, composition, layout, all are unmatchable.

Modern: Hands down the Burj al-Arab. Re-defines iconic.
