Yeah I love that one. It has that retro-futuristic look - much like the Space Needle in Seattle, which I also adore.

To me all those 'buildings' are fantastic & unique in their own way, true masterpieces, would be silly to compare them imo...

One more:

The Mont Saint-Michel, Brittany, France:

Very difficult thread... I really can't pick a single building as "the most" beautiful. I like Machu Picchu in the Americas, the Parthenon in Europe, the Hatshipsut Temple in Africa, the Taj Mahal in Asia...

In Brazil, I'd pick:

Santuário do Bom Jesus de Matosinhos, in Congonhas, Minas Gerais (18th century)

Museu do Ipiranga, São Paulo (19th century)

Palácio do Itamaraty, Brasília (20th century)

^ Im sorry, but take the gardens away, and there's not much left. I'm sure Brazil has got better to offer.

Probably, but I find it difficult to chose one single building, because Brazil is not a country of outstanding buildings. It's a country of outstanding sets of buildings. That's what make its landscapes unique.

Take Ouro Preto, for instance. Ouro Preto is a UNESCO World Heritage city.

One single building of Ouro Preto is not that impressive, but the general view of its surrondings is what makes it looks nice.

Anyway, I like Rio de Janeiro's Parliament building a lot:
