The view to Shinjuku is just impressive

Nice view of Shinjuku. Was it shot from the observatory deck? I really doubt that. I don't see if there is any observatory at the top floor. By the way, the interior is amazing and it's way better than the exterior.
Nonetheless, congrats to the workers and the developers of this tower. |

4,000 people waited in line before it was opened for business for the 1st time today.
The trainspotters also got a new place to shoot some video's of the Ginza Line. |

Not much more to show than what's already been presented, but here are some shots I personally took just before, during, and after opening day. I change trains here twice a day going to/from work for the last year so for me its a really good feeling to see this project go from construction site to something I can walk around in everyday.
Now we're all waiting for the Tokyu Toyoko terminal to close and be re-routed down in the basement--stay tuned in the Japan Urban Transit thread for that one--I update it as much as possible. Then of course, JR Shibuya Station and the Tokyu Toyoko Hakaten. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
