I am a little concerned about this airport's survivability due to the recent scandal involving Busan(?) Saving. The developer might not be able to find financing for this project.

The picture does not give the full view. I found it on one of the Cambodia news website. The airport is scheduled to start by the end of this year but was delay to earlier next year due to some adjustments to the design to have more khmer culture style

The terminal is a bit small for the money. Maybe it is just phase one. There is room to grow.

To get an idea of how much $1,000,000,000 gets for an airport, look at the picture below. It is Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Each of the half circles cost over $1,000,000,000.

Siem Reap Airport Plan

ក្រុមហ៊ុន Camco Airport Co. និង ក្រុមហ៊ុន Lees A&A Co ដែលក្រុមហ៊ុន

The design is too modern somehow, more appropriate to build it in Phnom Penh

This project still alive? Good to see progress and the design look nice. However, 50 km aways from town is a disadvantage unless they build express way or high speed train
