Aabenraa - The pretty stupid project

Okay. So first of all. This is probably the dumbest project Change in the world.
But. It startes of very good.

You see. In 2007 my friend told me that the City of aabenraa was going to get a skyscraper. I didn't believe him but 2 years after they announced it.
So any ways. the building they wanted to build was 40 meters high and hat 11 floors. 13 with the basement. it looked like this:

Great project right?

But then after they thore down the old building. (a club and the cities bus station.) well then it looked like this:

it looked like that for about 5 or 6 month.
But then they found out that the building shoulden't be built anyways. (what a bunch of suckers!)

but in the begining of 2010 they announced another building. Now i thought. great could be cool. Just until i saw it.

A MINI MALL?!?!?!?!

but it dosen't stop there. In aabenraa we got a very rich man. Jebsen. he owns alot of the buildings and building spaces in the city. So he decides to build some kind of medical house on the rest of the building space.
but he is wierd so he wants it to look like his own building in the city. So now they are going to built a building looking like something from the 1800s?

So i keep on thinking. are the mayor of Aabenraa just old or what?
its like they don't want aabenraa to be mordern or cool.

Trying to be positive, but is it really necessary with yet another thread? You should put it in Denmark-thread.

There's a reason why we have big city-threads - only big projects where a certain amount of activity is granted get their own threads.

I know you're new and everything, but please look around and see how we do it.

Exactly, we don´t need new threads, on every building project in Denmark.

"Jepsen" has really good taste. I love the style of this new building. It's beautiful.

Do you have some pictures from the inside also?

And yes after watching these pictures i kinda like it...
Aswell you can see they have changed the look of it.
so now it looks better...

Ohh sorry for my late reply. But yes. Unfortunately, they will build this. I will provide a picture of how far the have come, and a little news feed later today.

okay. Got some picture for you. Or I got one. Since the construction is very slow... But anyways. Here you go:

as you can see, the project is very slow. But I think that has something to do with the open air ice ring, that they are doing. Now that has aswell been delaid. Since it should have been done, in late october, But is still under construction. Here is how it looks.

Now all of this probably has something to do with the reconstruction, of the apartment blocks, on "Høje kolstrup" witch I will update on, this sunday
