Hudson, Wisconsin

Thinking about nice small towns in the area that most people don't think much about, I thought Hudson, Wisconsin would be a good place to explore. Just over the St. Croix River from Lakeland, Minnesota, many people in the Twin Cities think of Hudson as nothing more than an ugly mass of suburban sprawl along I-94, but it's actually a great little place. Unfortunately I didn't get as many shots of the waterfront as I had hoped.

No, it's not any more expensive than anywhere else in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area, and one of the cheapest places to live in the US. That being said, there are many wealthy Wisconsinites who live in the town and commute to the Twin Cities.

Thanks to you both! Indeed, Hudson is a very nice little town. Most of the towns in the St. Croix River Valley are very upscale and attractive.
