Hong Kong is a very fast paced city, no?

But anyway, yea, I don't understand, here I've gotten used to waiting 15 minutes for a damn train. At least the screen doors help a bit now

I read this yesterday night and I am not really surprised honestly. West Rail has been plagued with problems ever since operation. Hope everyone on the train was ok though.

I can only wish for trains to be delayed by no more than 2 minutes. In NYC, a "sick passenger" or "broken train or signal" can leave ppl waiting for half hour. And when it snows even 3 inches, like today 2/14, someone i knew had to wait half hour for a bus.
*One very funny thing: in the subway, they one time announced that there would be a change of service b/c of a "broken rail". If there really was a broken rail, wouldn't there have been an accident?

I don't think it has anything to do with West Rail but rather the train's designer and manufacturer.

That's like the original video someone posted a long time ago, except it actually featured ppl dressing up as a train, if anyone remembers...

Aww well, I liked it better when there was only one terminal-efficient and simple to passengers. The first time I visited, I asked, "Where are the other terminals?!" But I guess if this will relieve traffic to T1, sure!
