Really? I'd be surprised if they even were to represent the American bid after what happened this time. Let the games go some place they will be embraced.

My list:

Chicago
Toronto
New Delhi
Dubai
Mexico City
Singapore

I guess I wouldn't want LA to win the games again because it has already hosted twice.

Let's see.

The US in 2016. Still undecided where, but I wouldn't mind Los Angeles or San Francisco, maybe Chicago.

2020 in Cape Town

2024 in Copenhagen

I would like Chicago to host the olympics. I think it has made it's intentions to host recently after initially rejecting the idea. I'm not American but i think they should host in 2016, particularly as they helped London secure the 2012 games. Chicago seems a cool place for America to stage the games. I feel it will be a competitive bid like for the 2012 games; maybe not as intense but still it's going to be close i bet.

The games won't be in Europe in 2016 and I prefer in 2016 the first african city ever tho host the games, and if I have to choose, then I would go for Cape town , however Johannesburg would be possible too , or isn't this possible?

in 2020 I hope, the games will be in Europe again , and if I have to choose then , it would be Belgium , or the netherlands. maybe even together, if possible then. if not : Belgium: region of Flanders as a city complex to host the games or the city of Antwerp, netherlands: Rotterdam.

We would serve magnificant games , i think

Rotterdam is not likely to place a bid for 2016.

I share the sentiment that it's Africa's turn and Cape Town seems to be a strong contender in that area, one I would also support.

^ Mo, your signature says CT 2016 but your tagline says CT 2020. You're confusing me!

confusing u??? imagine how much i must confuse myself... lol anyway cape town has made its intent clear to bid for 2020 however i would like cape town to have a trial run in 2016 instead and give the american favourite a run for its money and at the same time learn much more as a lot has changed in the IOC process since cape town last bid in 1997.

Chicago seems good but US can present one only bid.
The "preliminary" US bid between NY and Chicago could be harder than the real bid.

Chicago would be a great city for the US Olympic bid, but I don't think it has enough backing in the US to take out New York.
