trust me madrid nor moscow definately not moscow will get it. If NY bumps london out out of a round and its just NY and Paris left its gonna be close because London, Moscow, Madrid and other european cities will vote for NY because they want a better chance to get the olympics next time. Itll be close extremely close.

Anyone that watches Eastenders will reckognise the thames shape - then again for the rest of the world and their oppinion of London I really hope that no one out of the UK watches EastEnders - a soap set in the East End of London.

London shouldve used something more internationally recognized in their logo.

Why? The thames is the lifeblood of London through the ages and an integral part of the bid(and all the environmentally friendly stuff). Besides using something like Tower Bridge or Big Ben is old hat!

i keep on saying this and i dont mean to be hateful to the spanish cause i too wud be proud of such a great bid but madrid really wont win and im not saying that i know it all, and i luv madrids plans but its pure geo-politics, 52 members of the IOC will not believe madrid instead of paris or london in the last round deserve the games..

I think its going to be the other way around. Once London knocks NY out of the racethe other European cities as well as America will vote for London.

i agree - i don't think any other London icon is appropriate. The posters i n London are good though - especially the one of the hurdler going over Tower Bridge.

New York has the best logo - you can't get much better than a city that has an icon that just so happens to be a person carying flaming torch - the olympic logo.

Then I like London's idea of using the river in the olympic colours. Paris isn't too bad an idea - but it's a bit soppy, and whilst a lot of people go on a romantic weekend to Paris it is not particularly something that makes me think Paris.

Londons had it twice. Why again?I think my prediction will be correct. It's Paris, with Madrid as an outsider.

New York and London are the two finalists with Paris on the outside looking in, and in the end New York wins over the IOC in a very close finish.

so little some of you know about the bid. I guarantee you madrid WILL NOT be in the final rounds it will be knocked out with moscow. Couldnt you imagine the energy at a NY olympics? seeing the ESB glowing while sitting in the new advanced jets stadium. The urban feel. I want it to be between NY and London. reason Paris would get it is because IOC feels sympathy for them because they bid so much and plus their bid is high and when it comes to the IOC voting "money talks", but it wont do all the talking necessary to win the bid 100%.
