When reading some of your posts I wonder who is being racist here... Accusing a whole country for the lamentable attitude that a few ignorant idiots who tend to gather in football stadiums is very simplistic and pathetic and deserves no further comments… I don’t think Spaniards have something to learn from guys like that particularly when coming from y a country hosting the sadly worldwide famous hooligans…

Yep, but sadly its not just a "few ignorant idiots who tend to gather in football stadiums" is it?

Racial intergreation isnt Spains strong point. You expect those idiots who gather at, lets say the Bernebeu (Real MADRIDS stadium) wont try and get tickets for Olympic competitions?

The fact is, it hasnt happened once in a few years, it happens week in week out in Spain. Players like Shaun Wright Phillips (linked with Real Madrid) uttered his complete desire not to perform in Spain ever again until something is done about it.

4000 guys and girls linked on a beach to create Paris 2012 logo :

birminghamculture> We don't care, we want it joyful and popular !

An important fact is that Coca-Cola wanted to be a sponsor of this event, Paris 2012 committee refused because Coca is an official sponsor of olympic games... It can mean that economically, Paris already won (indeed, there is more companies and businessmen that support Paris 2012 that any other candidate cities). I think for now, it's politically that the final decision will be taken...

"The racist chanting by Spanish fans at Wednesday night's friendly international in Madrid has embarrassed the government amid fears it could damage the city's bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games."

Oh and it wasn't a few, it was a stadium full chanting, not on one occasion bvut at the under-21's match and at the main match as well, but not only that on TV the manager made racist comments on two seperate occasions.

The UK isn't the only country to have hooligans, go to Turkey where they murdered english fans, or Italy or Germany.

I am sick of a bunch of pre-pubescent teenagers voicing their irrational hatred and always misinfored view of the UK.

I remember this thread when it was interesting to read, now its just an outlet for Spanish forumers who seem rarely to venture out of their own regional forum, and a few Brits, to bash each other.

I wonder whether i should start a 2012 Olympics thread open only to American, French and Russian (well not so sure about Coth ) forumers to post on.

Thats not biased

Infact that was trying to point out to Madrid what the right thing to do in that sort of situation was, so it didnt affect Madrids bid.

It was a helpful push to make a public cry that Madrid does not condone those sort of actions.

Isn't that just saying htat the the leaders of the London bid are saying Madrid must condemn racism following allegations of racism at a Madrid football stadium by quite a lot of spectators. Sounds like simple reporting to me.

I'll explain.

London's media stress over Madrid bad points by the quote of London 2012 bid leader.

That is biasing.

An American article.

"I think it was fantastic," England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said. "Two good matches, we won them both. And those two teams we met might be in Germany, the United States for sure and Colombia have a good chance. It was very good.

Reporters have to explain who said what, they cant just say Sven Goran Eriksson especially in the US talking about football, because they would probably think its the Phone which David Beckham uses or something. It has to be made clear.
