No I'm home in Columbus. Although I'd love to be there. Why do you ask?

You just seemed to have fresh images, so I thought you decided to move to Detroit for a change...

Detroit is so impressive. In the last set there was a building which was very interesting and attractive - with red & green stones in a patterned design?

What is the US government doing to help Detroit? What are the Republican/Democrat 'positions' towards regeneration of the city, and in helping to support the automotive industry?

Yea I love all the cool old churches in Detroit! They really are lovely. I'd rather not get into politics. Lets just say I don't feel that Detroit and other "Rust Belt" cities are high on either parties priority list! They ride into town, promise the world and never deliver. Both are guilty.

Great thread.

Have you ever been to the Packard plant? I would love to see that. Buick City in Flint too.

Thanks!

Sadly no. I wont anytime soon either. I have friends in Detroit who say it's become very dangerous. My one friend caught someone trying to break into his car while he was photographing it.

Such a shame Detroit is so empty as visually it's a lovely city. The buildings are lovely and as has been mentioned, the churches are like gems!
