I love BA.

Like many older cities in N. America though, such as NY, a lot of older buildings were razed in the 1950s and onward. While BA and NY still have a sea of old buildings, both would look more European had their original architecture been preserved.

Nice to see historic buildings for instance, as we are used to see mostly skyscrapers of BA. A bit sad that some buildings are rundown or may be it's just the graffity that makes them look that way.

If true, it is a shame to see some buildings in a horrible state of preservation but luckily enough are restoring homes and historic sites but still have much to do ...

Is true even in Buenos Aires every day that passes the architectural heritage is being destroyed by real estate speculation primarily in neighborhoods of low houses, it really is a tremendous pity...

Those are Beaux Arts or Art Nouveau buildings, so they are about a hundred years old.
