Very cool display of pics from Le Havre my friend. I was there in April as part of my attempt to get back to England after Paris thanks to the volcano. By the way, what is the shopping centre in 110. and 111., I don't remember seeing it anywhere.

Merci.

Damn, that city is ugly! Modernist buildings everywhere, and the older buildings aren't that special... Thanks for the pics anyway

I disagree with the "ugly" sentiment, although there is a lot of 60's architecture, which isn't exactly my cup of tea. Still, I like the fact that Le Havre seems a lot more "spread out" and more spacious than the towns on the other side of the Channel. I also liked this shot in particular:

The city was pretty much flattened during WWII, so the 1950s/60s architecture can't really be helped. I actually don't think Le Havre is that bad given the architecture and town planning of those decades (which I usually always hate, without exception).

For containers only. In total it is Marseille (which includes Fos under the name Grand Port de Marseille or GPM), mostly thanks to hydrocarbons transiting via Fos.
