This area is atop a hill.. It will look much taller than the 715m being quoted.

The 715m figure includes the hill's height above sea level. Usually when there's a drawing that mentions elevation it refers to height above sea level, and not the height of the building itself. As you can see in the diagram, the first floor is at an elevation of 75m, so the tower will be about 640m.

So 640m is the secret final height. It is 20m shorter than the Ping An Finance Center at 660m, but taller then Wuhan Greenland Centre at 636. So KL118 will be taller then the recently completed Shanghai tower.

nice! but unless Ping An FC loses its spire, KL 118 won't be taller. 710m - the 75m to the first floor will be its height.

The northern side opens to Hang Jebat Street while at south opens up to Stadium Street. Both streets are at different elevation due to KL' s hilly topography. So at which elevation do we start measuring the tower's height?

Really awesome design. I hope they chose a really good cladding so the light will reflect in different manners of the different sides.
