The final height seems to be 610M. Do we know if this is with our without the spire?

I think it's with the spire.

Thanks I'm guessing the roof height will be about 530-560M then.

While I understand that the Kingdom Tower will be the tallest on earth when built (1,000M roughly), it kind of boggles my mind that there is nowhere near as much publicity for the skyscrapers in Malaysia. Considering at least two are 600M+ and lots more are 300+.

They better think of revamping Plaza Rakyat, because you wouldn't want a nice view to be disturbed by an abandoned Atlantis XD.

Does that say 682m?
682 to be world's second tallest? By then, many other towers would have eclipsed KL118. (Kingdom tower 1km high)
Ye olde spire on the top trick again.

610m just to the roof and 682m inclusing spire? What are the official numbers?

Depending on how quick this is built, this could be the second tallest for a short time.
It could end up as a race between Zhongnan Tower and this tower for 2nd or 3rd depending on when Kingdom Tower gets completed.
Greenland Centre could also be 2nd tallest for a short time before one of these towers beat it.
Interesting times in the next few years!

The construction of KL 110 is a bit ahead of Zhongnan Center and the top part of Zhongnan will take longer to build than the spire of KL 110. so i think KL 110 will top out first.
And Kingdom Tower is quite far ahead of both but i'll be far taller. Will be an interesting race for sure

Two front runners for KL118

By Jose Barrock / The Edge Malaysia | June 18, 2015 : 7:00 PM MYT

TWO outfits — a joint venture between WCT Holdings Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) (fundamental: 0.6; valuation: 1.4) and Arabtec Holding PJSC, and a consortium comprising UEM Group Bhd and Samsung — are understood to be the front runners to bag the construction portion of the RM5 billion KL118 Tower (formerly known as Warisan Merdeka), industry sources say.

It is learnt that the two have put in “the best bids thus far, and are favourites to bag the large-scale job”, a source says.

Some of the bidders contacted by The Edge were also aware of WCT-Arabtec and UEM-Samsung leading the pack for the job, which is likely to be awarded by Permodalan Nasional Bhd in the next few months.

The two front runners are among six shortlisted bidders. The other four are a tripartite joint venture between IJM Corp Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) (fundamental: 1.1; valuation: 1.4), Norwest Holdings Sdn Bhd and Shimizu Corp; a collaboration between Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) ( Financial Dashboard) (fundamental: 0.6; valuation: 0.8) and China State Construction Engineering Corp; a partnership between TSR Capital Bhd (Financial Dashboard) (fundamental: 0.85; valuation: 1.2) and Daewoo Group; and a bid by Seacera Group Bhd (Financial Dashboard) (fundamental: 1.6; valuation: 3.0), which is partnering its 60% unit Spaz Sdn Bhd and China’s Sinohydro Corp-Shanghai Construction Group.

A UEM official says, “UEM’s subsidiary UEM Builders Bhd has submitted a bid for the project,” but did not elaborate.
