Once there was a large tram junction just in from of Trinity College. How History repeats that tram is coming back again in front of the college.

Has the idea of a BRT line to the airport been canned? I remember seeing things about it on the news when I was home last summer but haven't kept up with it. Hopefully it has been scrapped, how anyone could see that as a sufficient connection from the city centre to the airport is beyond me. Heavy rail metro and a DART spur are the only things that have ever really made sense IMO. DART spur would cause too much congestion on the line north of Connolly and widening that to 4 track would be a nightmare, so we need metro north. Hopefully they'll do something about it and it won't just be a tram line. Fingers crossed.

BRT is not gone yet, but is slowly vanishing.

Luas works have moved from the City Centre so as to allow for the St Patricks Day Parade last week and a number of events to commemorate the 1916 rising over the Easter weekend.
