You simply can't use the same materials and technique. No one can build this in 6 months, the comparission with that 30 floor building is totally pointless and wrong.

I say lets wait and see I'm as doubtful as everyone but technology changes and improves so who knows? And I also believe the 6 months schedule is only for the structure. Notice that on on these construction videos with measured time they always omit the foundation stage so it's likely the whole process is a lot longer.

yes structure without cladding and foundation. i mean it seems possible (but unlikely) if they find a way to lift wall parts and not have to pour everything.

You cannot know this.

Also, you probably need to update that figure of 6 months. The original figure of 4+2 months (construction+installation) was for the first proposal which would have stood at 666m. This one is nearly 200m taller, albeit with a spire.

The fact that there are people who actually believe that an 800 meter tower can be constructed safely in 6 months is a painful reminder of the bottomless depth of human stupidity.

Here's at least one from the former page, plus the developers who released the statement.

Thus, they can build this tower in about 4 months.
The first month, they build 60 storeys.
The second month, 120 storeys will be completed.
The third month is 180 storeys.
And end, they will complete all in less than 4 months.
Maybe they can build a 360 storey building in 6 months.

OMG, this building is the most beautiful building I ever saw. I thought nothing can be more beautiful than the Willis Tower, but apparently I was wrong. There are no words to describe the pure, perfect beauty of this building

Silly question but I ask myself what purpose this would serve, would it get taken down after a certain amount of time?

He is new and unexperianced ssc forumer, so we can forgive him this

As for me I don't believe it will be constructed in 6 months, I simply do not exclude this very unlikely possibility.

and i think with unlimited resources, excluding cladding, foundation and other crucial parts it is theoretically maybe possible in 12 months and i am just a positive thinker

You simply can't build a 800+ meters tower with the same materials abnd technique as that 30 floors one. The weight and aerodynamics makes it IMPOSSIBLE to use the same technical parameters on materials from bottom to top, it's technically impossible.

The guy is just BS-ing to get buzz about his company and some funds from investors.
