What would be the purpose of those factories? What's produced there?

i expect it to be a new main factory for their own company and thinking about it building the factory first and then being able to construct all the stuff right next to the towers location sounds pretty cost efficient. just what would the tower serve right there next to a big factory with no way left for normal urbanization to take place near it anymore. supertalls seem quite random near factories for sure. nevertheless i love it and if it serves a purpose for them then they should do it for sure.

So people can walk to their "factory" work places from their homes.

What they do there? I can think of many things: recycling, indoor argriculture, "fresh" food processing, repair shops, etc..

I think there should be some sort of underground expressways for various modes of transportation.

Wow. I sure hope so, I would definately raise the bar. No more "pie in the sky" proposals and an start with pictures would be incredible. I recall reading that the start was supposed to be this November. Time will tell! Let's see if they start turning dirt then!

This tower could become the first building over 1,000 feet tall to the roof in Changsha if I'm not mistaken. Interesting how Changsha is going for the world's tallest to roof height with only having two other towers (The Wharf IFC , two towers) in the works to join the ranks in the city at a height of over 1,400 feet.

So you're saying this city has except for this 3 towers only lowrise, that will look so out of place, but in the same way interesting. On the other hand, which city has a skyline where this tower could blend in well, none.

Yeah Changsha will only have 3 supertalls including this one if this gets built. Just seems interesting that one of the very first supertalls in Changsha will possibly be the tallest building in the world.

After ST is complete, it wouldn't look monstrous in Shanghai. Especially if it reaches 838 m to the tip of a spire.

in taipei there was only one building over 200m before they built the tallest in the world either. and they had no plans for other supertalls and still have no other building over 200m finished as of this year.

Not only lowrises. 15-20 towers taller than 200m on going...
