After clicking on the link, look in the options of the video where you can see "1 2 3", click on the 3 and wait until the commercial ends.
They don't say anything new.
BTW, nothing new in last days, I guess this is dead again.

Certainly not fluent in Spanish at all but the video just looks like a traditional "this will be in the skyline of Changsha soon" type of overview of the project. Guess we'll wait for more concrete information.

Actually it seems you are fluent enough. That was exactly the point in the video. Nothing new.

We'll keep waiting

Well to be honest I wasn't expecting anything new from Spanish tv report as I probably wouldn't expect anything new from polish tv report too Best sources for this are big international news agencies like reuters , chinese meda or broad itself.

also sceptical, probably we will get another delay, but would be nice to see if they prepare for anything and if we get more details. i think if this gets build, we will get a lot of delays during construction and it maybe archives to top out in a year or so after it started rising, still pretty much a dream and i don't think it will happen, but wishful thinking and we will see what happens. sceptical, but also very very curious and excited to see what comes out of this.

Honestly, I'm not sure I want this to be built. It's very exciting watching a tower rise from the dirt to the sky over the course of approx. 3-5 years. If this thing gets built, it may forever change the way skyscrapers are built. It would get old, real fast, if we only get 6 months to a year to watch until a tower is topped out. Part of me wants this to be built(which I think it will) but for the most part, I don't want it built.

But then again, imagine what skyscrapers they would start building after this one is completed. Even that crazy 3km pyramid from Japan is possible
And I agree that this will change the way we build, not only skyscrapers. This is really very exciting project to follow.

On the other hand, being able to build skyscrapers this fast (and presumably fairly cheap), the number of skyscrapers U/C will probably skyrocket, so, even though it would only take a few months to build each one, we will always have several U/C.
What I will be really interested in is what other designs they could produce with this method.

The second half of THIS month? June, 2013?

That's now, today. The second half of June began two days ago.

The 838-metre Sky City, the world’s tallest tower, in Changsa, China, will be completed by March 2014.
“We will spend four months for prefabrication and three months for installation onsite. Total seven months will be needed. We plan to commence construction by September and complete the tower by March 2014,” a person aware of the plans told Emirates 24|7 on conditions of anonymity.

Construction work on the tower will commence in August (end), Broad Group Chairman Zhang Yue said at the recently concluded Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) London Conference.
(...)
In May, Emaar Properties Chairman Mohamed Alabbar said Dubai could accommodate a tower taller than Burj Khalifa.
(...)
4 months for prefabrication + 3 months for assembling, and completion date in March, so for me it's not quite clear if the construction onsite will start in August or that's the date when the prefabrication starts.

i soooooooooo hope this is built. It will be revolutionary, but I just cannot wait to see it. But... am I the only one who thinks the renderings are a little vague? I may just be being silly myself, but the renderings look somewhat - not very detailed. Argh
