How the hell are they going to build a 2700+ft tower in 3 months? It took the burj khalifa more than 5 years to get built and the burk khalifa was built with the most advanced building technology.building an 1/2 mile high tower in 3 months is next to impossible.

if you do the math they have to build about 30ft a day: 2700/90=30

This is supposed to be a prefabricated tower so when the prefab parts arrive, all they have to do is install them like a puzzle piece. It's very much possible to finish it that fast, but I'm not sure If it will remain standing. It's kind of scary to think about it being prefab and being that tall.
Although, I have been following this thread for over 2 years now, and all we ever seem to get are updates to construction starts that never happen. I think this tower was scheduled to start like 37 times now, so at this point, I don't recommend anyone hold their breath in anticipation

Hopefully they are prefabricating the parts now, and just leaving the foundations to the last minute.
On the other hand, even if they wait 2 more years for some reason, when complete, it will still be the WTB.

I agree with you, I won't believe it until I see it.

The time they have taken in rescheduling, will be the time it took to build the Burj Dubai lol! No point boasting you can build a skyscraper in 90 days when you take over two years to schedule the damn thing!

Don't they have to build this 'near-by factory' first? Is there any sign of construction of a factory to make these pre-fab pieces anywhere?

Didn't they build a 30 storey building in 6 days? That one is still standing! I know a 800m tower is slightly more ambitious but after watching the time lapse of their previous projects, I really think they have the potential to pull this off!
Just with any new technology, I believe that it will eventually evolve into more designs and not just the standard box building.

They most certainly did. It was an amazing site to behold! I to think they have the potential to pull this off, but I think they should have set their sights on building something a little smaller.

What a fast construction there! i mean here it took (new) homeowners [half] a month just to complete a single-storey house.

its going to take at least 4 or 5 months just to lay a foundation,a tower this huge needs a massive foundation.

Slightly.

You realie this will be almost 10 times the height of that building, don't you?

There are 17 helipads slated for construction on this building yet there are no adequate public rescue helicopter service in case of an emergency. The only option left is chartering ultralight helicopters to whisk the residents in case of an emergency. No wonder why so many new affordable helicopter companies are popping up all over China.

Broad Sustainable buildings should consider constructing Wooden skyscrapers to broaden their horizon and claim more genuine sustainable environmentally friendly records.
