There are some in Lithuania

Vilnius "Gediminas avenue" - (LT) "Gedimino prospektas"

~1890
Kaunas "Laisve avenue" - (LT) "Laisvės alėja"

Šiauliai "Ausra avenue" also called "Bulvar" - (LT) "Aušros alėja" arba "Bulvaras"

dont be sure about that title, I doubt Paulista avenue is the most important. i would say Paseo de la Reforma is way more important than that. Plus is in the capital of Latin America= Mexico city. and Reforma Avenue have like 4 projects over 200m and 4 over 300m.

Yep! There's nothing sexy about a 10-lane-street.
Champs Élyssées is very noisy and it's impossible to cross the street. It must be very exciting for car drivers, but it's horrible for pedestrians. I would be glad when they redevelope it.

But oh well, it's a matter of how you define "best avenue".

I remember that I was quite amazed about some avenues in Rome.

For example the Via San Gregorio. The Colosseum is right next to that triumphal arch (hidden by some trees)

i don't own this picture

Please DO NOT turn this into a City vs City thread or infractions will be issued. The next person to continue it will get one. Thank you.
