Australia is not a continent. It falls under Oceania. Oceania is the continent.

What I was thinking. Having a hard time imagining someone setting up their office or residence in the statue.

Oceania is not a "real" continent.

Image below: Mainland Australia showing the continental shelf (light blue) extending to the islands of New Guinea in the north, the island of Timor in the northwest, and Tasmania in the south

New Zealand is not on the same continental shelf and so is not part of the continent of Australia but is part of the submerged continent Zealandia. Zealandia and Australia together are part of the wider region known as Oceania or Australasia.

Oceania is a region centered on the islands of the tropical Pacific Ocean

Australasia is a region of Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, the island of New Guinea, and neighbouring islands in the Pacific Ocean

I already stated why it should be Oceania instead of just Australia in this threads case as New Zealand is home to the southern hemispheres tallest building.

OMG, let's just call it Oceania for the sake of simplicty and leave it alone.

Anyways...

SOUTH AMERICA

Strange that people think of the Eiffel Tower for Europe. I know its famous, but THE most iconic thing in all of Europe? Not bad for a temporary bit of metal from the great exhibition.

this is ridiculous!

Brazilian National Congress is completely unknown by 99,999999% of people in the world. Even BA's Casa Rosada is more known.

I think South America's most iconic building or complex is be Machu Pichu.

But in South America we consider there's just one America as continental europeans do. The "Americas" is an anglosaxon concept.

Last time I checked, the Vatican was in Italy, not SA.
