Commies on hillsides
This thread is about a fine collection of commieblocks on hillsides. In this context commies are presented in their best shape, since their beauty of planning (at least for east europe) is fully recognizable and mostly they offer a nice view over the town. I hope you like it and maybe others will also contribute.
PS: I am little bit uncertain about posting pictures without any "free" licensing (GNU- or some special Creative Commons license). This panoramio stuff just says something copyright, but I don"t give a toss. In fact it is a crime posting images without proper free license, but I think all this stuff generally is unclear. Just try to give credit to the regarding author if available, otherwise try to follow the instructions on wikimedia. shit is real...nothing seems as it used to be. Maybe I am coming up with some pics of east german Plattenbau but plenty of them have been torn down, that definitely hurts. All those former huge commie districts are dying and that ain't about to change. Where did this fucking east german identity go to?!? But ppl out here are happy if they can have something of their bullshit money and move outta the plattenbau. Plattenbau is history and is damned to be nostalgic and you will see, sooner or later you will have that kind of devastating effects on commies also in Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia and so on, if it had not happened already.
