The main causes of the increasing death rates in the Road Accidents are:
Not knowing or not adopting correct driving habits.
Increasing number of New generation vehicles especially Two wheelers.
Aggressive driving behavior of Heavy vehicle drivers especially Private Buses & Tipper Lorries.

The reality is that all are reckless drivers but cars are comparatively safer. A two wheeler driver can kill himself for any small mistake by them or others. A truck or a bus driver can kill others by his smallest mistake.

It is partially, correct. Ofcourse The two wheelers make mistake.Some most modern bike riders makes problems.. But now there exists more four wheelers in road. The old "Chethu Pilleru" driving is in car. because now the sale of cars is more than that of bike. The number of accidents are more in the case of four wheelers especially in highways. I am staying near Model Road here, Thrissur. I can see the speed of cars here. They are flying .

Don't think this is the KSTP Road.KSTP starts from Choondal.May be this stretch is somewhere ahead of Choondal.May be near Sobha City (?);guessing from the road marking.

• The upgradation of the roads to Sabarimala will be inaugurated today.
• This is first project to be implemebted by the Kerala PWD under the new Heavy Maintenance Scheme.
  The roads to be developed under this scheme are

1. Mannarakulanji-Chalakkayam : 54 Kms
2. Kanamala-Elavunkal : 9.9 Kms
3. Kanjirappally-Erumeli : 13 Kms
4. Erumeli-Kanamala : 15 Kms

• and the Kanamala Bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs.4.7 Crores

Hope,atleast this project will be completed "In Time".

This is the photos taken from Puzhakkal as you said near to sobha city. This is SH 69. This starts form city to Kuttippuram choondal. From Choondal to Guruvayur, there is another SH. The canal work for the four lining of road has been started here. The Puzhakkal bridge will be reconstructed shortly for four line road.

This is a KSTP road.The work is done by KSTP. The package is KSTP IV The contract amount is Rs.162 crore. In the last budget, the Government has allotted Rs.62crore for the four lining of City-Choondal Section.
