Yes it is 3 years after it could have been had they developer started construction then it could be to Northpoint quality, but niw has the competition of The Palm - "The only World Class Condominium in Wongsmat", the developers tag line, words fail me !

The tag line fails me too....

The Zire has sold around 80% of the units in tower A. Tower B is 100% sold out. The "Financial Risk" of the project has gone now as RL have all the deposits in and the customers are now well into the monthly instalments and things should be ticking over. RL have blocked off some of the very high floor units to sell towards completion for a higher price. RL came up with a very successful business model to sell this project buy constructing the beautiful pool area at Zire first and then walking clients into the pool area of Northpoint and showing a completed quality project for credibility. This has worked for them very well, I listened in to the sales pitch a few time whilst I was around the pool and RL sales reps do tell the potential clients that NP will be better quality than Zire. Northpoint tower A is sold out so clients wanting a FULL sea view only have one option and that is to by tower A at Zire...prices have increased by around 35% since the pre-launch on the most popular full sea view units in Tower A. It's good that NP is in a league of it's own here as that will keep the prices high.....

Zire Wongamat was 66% sold by end of Q1 2012 according to
Q1 financial reporting and 10% cash of total sales value target
had been received.

RL continues to show power

Zire looks awesome, I have been so impressed with the quality RL has done with the River I may look into buying more of there developments.

Seems to be RL is a leader and has a very good name in Thailand. The positive press coming out from many news feeds shows these guys are serious developers.

So excited to get my River unit and possibly buy in Zire. The quality is above what I have expected

Likely because its closure will divide the hostility on this forum by roughly 1/10th.

But this thread is about Zire Wongamat. Let's talk about Zire Wongamat, guys.

Ok noted, but does that mean we can't speak freely because it upsets other forum users?

I am happy with the progress here at Zire and with RL but others may not be? Does that mean that this thread is at risk of closure if I post positive comments and others disagree?

Any idea what the contracted completion date is
because I have a feeling the developer will be looking for an extension of time, if so they better make sure it is a valid claim.

Well the pilling started and finished when they said it would, the handover of the site to Pre Built was done exactly on the dates they specified too.

The progress is clearly seen and they are working everyday till 10 pm. I don't want to praise RL too much incase it annoys other SSC users and it leads to this thread being closed too....when you say you have a "feeling", is that a Psychic thing or speculation?

Within a few days the Office of Consumer Protection will hear the case for a one year extension of time at The River, this will potentially be one of the most significant cases and illustrate that the date of completion contained in Sale & Purchase Agreements has to be very carefully considered will make no further comment at this stage

Yes but Zire IS on track so it is far too early to speculate whether or not Pre Built will construct it inline with the completion dates specified in the contrats.

There were no delays in getting the project started and now the project is 80% sold, the payments now coming in each month should service the outgoing costs.

RL will update us all in their quarterly progress reports. So far, so good
