those limited expensive posh (with private pools) units facing the manila bay are already almost sold out...
I doubt though if the other units (those that are not facing the Manila Bay) would sell well... The price is still high compared to other condos of Fort/Makati.. They should not tag these units with a Manila Bay price since these units won't be having any good view of the bay - plus these units are reduced to 2ndclass units of the bldg - they have a different entrance and amenities from those units in the Manila Bay side. Reminds me of Titanic that there are separations between 1st class, tourist and economy class - people can't cross to the other class even if they are just on the same boat! =D |

Admiral BaySuites revives old Manila July 14, 2011, 3:55am MANILA, Philippines — With its European design accentuated by baroque architecture and lavish interiors, the Admiral BaySuites is set to bring back the elegance and sophistication on Roxas Boulevard. A six-star boutique hotel, this is the latest project of Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. (ALHI), a fast-rising real estate conglomerate led by Chairman Stephen Lee, Vice Chairman Steve Li and VP for sales and marketing Elizabeth Ventura. Located on Manila Bay, it will rise out of the Admiral Hotel, the citys’ elite hotel from 1930’s to the 90s’. Prominent personalities who have stayed there include former US President Herbert Hoover, Gen. Douglas MacArthur, former ambassador of the US to the Philippines Paul McNutt, and Mexican boxing champ Cesar Soto. ALHI acquired the property from the Lopez-Araneta family who has built the Admiral Hotel’s legacy. The 53-story residential building which is located behind the iconic hotel at Roxas Boulevard in Malate will offer spacious units up to 858 sqm. The condominium will be composed of 41 residential floors, eight parking levels and two amenity floors. It will have two portions, the east and west wing. The east wing will feature one-bedroom and two-bedroom units that will range from 30 sqm to 100 sqm while the west wing will have three-, four- and five-bedroom units. Both towers will have balconies that will give its future owners a scenic view of the Manila Bay and the Makati skyline. This six-star hotel also offers exceptional features such as the hotel-room type of service from its trained staff, wine cellars, cigar rooms, private and sky lounges and helipad. It also has an array of amenities including a 25-meter lap pool with children’s pool, game room, Wii room, poker room, mahjong room, KTV room, music room and Wi-Fi lounge. Unit owners can keep their bodies in top shape in the dance studio, fitness center and table tennis room. |

I thought just because the design is European - inspired eh may European designers na. I see. I really hope that they could make the interior and most importantly, the service, to be that of the standards of a 6-star hotel, just a star rating behind Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai.

i found this archive news about this project, maybe this could support why they call it 6-star hotel project ...
![]() Admiral Baysuites luxury condo enjoying brisk sales - Anchor Land By Zinnia B. Dela Peña (The Philippine Star) Updated July 08, 2011 12:00 AM Manila, Philippines - Binondo-based upscale developer Anchor Land Holdings Inc. said its planned 53-story luxury residential condominium, Admiral Baysuites, is enjoying brisk sales with more than 90 percent of the West Wing already taken up. Anchor Land vice-chairman Steve Li said the project, which will rise along the former site of the historic Admiral Hotel along Roxas Boulevard, offers the most opulent residential living with some units measuring a staggering 1,000 square meters each – the first of its kind in the country. Li said the 1,000-sqm units come with their own swimming pool. On top of the regular amenities found in most residential condominium buildings, Admiral Baysuites offers a limousine service, yacht cruise in Manila Bay and a cigar room and wine cellar to unit owners, among others. Li said more than 90 percent of the West Wing, which houses 69 units, are now sold. “This is history’s new luxury address. The Admiral Baysuites will reflect the rich and the elegant history of Admiral Hotel and we will leave no stone unturned to make this a phenomenal success,” said Stephen Lee, chairman of Anchor Land. Aside from the posh residential condominium, Anchor Land is redeveloping the iconic area into a European-inspired boutique hotel that features white gloved service and six-star amenities. Li said the company is also set to start construction of its first venture into the single-detached housing market through Clairemont Hills Parksuites in suburban San Juan City. Clairemonte Hills will feature an exclusive cluster of single detached units surrounding a taller central structure that will also offer posh condominium suites with extraordinarily large cuts. The company sees its capital expenditures reaching a record P5.5 billion this year as it embarks on an aggressive expansion to capitalize on the booming property market. Funding for the company’s expansion will come from a combination of internally-generated cash and debt. Li said management is also seriously considering boosting its public float to enhance liquidity of its stock. Projects in full swing are The SoleMare Parksuites near Macapagal Boulevard at the ASEANA Business Park, the Anchor Skysuites along Ongpin St. in Binondo, and the Wharton Parksuites along Masangkay St., also in Binondo. The company expects its sales to hit more than P3 billion this year. Anchor Land reported a 52 percent jump in net profit last year to P566 million from P373 million while earnings per share climbed to P1.63 from P1.08 in 2009. Revenues grew 63 percent to P2.66 billion. Last edited by maniLaboy_me; August 10th, 2011 at 02:16 PM. |

wow!, this is good news ... nagsisimula na pala 'tong napakagandang project na 'to coz the last time I passed by the area, di pa ganito ... anyway this project Admiral Baysuites when finished would be I think one of most beautiful highrise in M. Mla, I mean look at the design and architecture!, especially it is located along Roxas Blvd ... It's also a great addition on that area, walang gano highrises jan sa part na malapit sa Quirino Ave area ...
