hkskyline's 2010 CINQUE TERRE - Italian Coastal Hiking #2

After a long hike uphill from Corniglia, the descent into Manarola was a bit more comfortable, on a series of steps and not the mud that greeted our initial hike.

Here is Manarola, with the Mediterranean in the back. It was a 3-hour hike and it was quite exhausting!

The cat seemed to be having a comfortable day, which did not involve hiking.

It was time for an afternoon tea. With the sea just steps away, of course we had to pick a seafood pizza.

The descent ended with the rugged coastline. The houses did not reach to the sea, but perched above it.
