Not to mention Kingdom tower, to put both those towers to shame height wise.

Glad ot see that one rise.
China build amazing highrise. The skyscraper has a super shape, beautiful curves and height and it s not a boxy skyscrapers like most in us.

Honestly ,there are not many skyscrapers with curve like greenland center in us .We can do better. For one beautiful tower in us there 10 ugly honestly and in china almost every skyscraperrs has a special shape.Even London do better than us with design. But some building in Miami and NYC are cool. For exemple hudson yards, manhattan west, nordstorm or 111 murray are jewels .In Miami echo brickell,muse,1000 museum or panorama towers are perfect. It good begining for these cities.Even London do better than us with design.Often we there is a beautiful design at the beginning, it get changed for a boxy design without class.

The most surprising thing is that these building in china are designed by architect from us or uk.Wuhan greenland center was designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill Architecture ,a chicago based firm.So why most of our towers have a boxy shape. Why not the best for us.
I know what i m saying is terrible ,but I m just expressing my opinion.

I think the same thing as you, all these beautiful buildings outsourced to other countries while the u.s. gets lousy boxy designed skyscrapers with a few exceptions... Oh well the highest bidder wins so at least theyre being built. Could u imagine this building in place of nordstrom and kingdom tower in place of 1wtc? But its sadly not the case. Heres to the future though

Chicago and new york have really cool buildings like john hancock center trump tower and willis tower, there was a proposed chicago spire that was 600 meters but tht went out the window. Anyway cant wait till this starts to take shape i have watched it since it was a hole in the ground

OK, thanks ! I just corrected my previous post

So that's great, because I thought the renders from first post in this thread are current. Good news for me, cause I strongly prefer this cladding !

I agree, the change of cladding makes it my favourite building of this century so far.
