Looking fantastic! That core seems quite far ahead of the frame but the Y shape probably gives it a bit more support to be out so far ahead. Starting to look really tall

It's so tall already it towers above its neighbors and has come so far so fast. I remember just last year it was a hole in the ground... The construction speed definitely picked up the pace. Wuhan just needs some more supertalls to even it out.

Looks like it will be a great building, but...

Is it really useful to build that kind of hypertall skyscrapers when China's economy is struggling and many people still live in poverty?

Good point but this is still only one building in a sea of population density and various economic statuses. At worst like any large commercial project it takes time for the offices to be fully rented but I'd imagine the apartments and hotel would have no issue with business immediately. Just my guessing, though. Can't back it up with facts.
