.jpg) image hosted on flickr         image hosted on flickr  image hosted on flickr  there are more than 1000 art deco buildings in BA, most of them between 2 and 10 stories, but not many art deco skyscrapers art deco in Argentina is very different from art deco in USA. in BA it is very subtile (almost rationalism), or very lavish (and sometimes mixed with art nouveau), no middle point! small houses of 1, 2 or 3 stories are the best examples of Argentinean art deco and are the best designed ones from my point of view! Dallas Cotton Exchange - Built in 1926. In 1994 it was decided to get rid of this eyesore and replace it with a beautiful parking lot.
