Is this map correct? I know there will also be an intercity line to Huanggang, but I believe construction has yet to start? I purposefully left out many stations, as the map would have become too cluttered had all of them been included.
Thanks for the effort, it's largely accurate. Regarding Wuhan-Huanggang Intercity line, construction started back in late 2009, and it's progressing fairly good, but due to the fact that it has to build a new Yangtze River railway bridge for this line the opening date is pushed back to 2013.

Harbin-Dalian will open on July 15th, so this is a particularly busy two weeks for MOR with three openings. Wuhan-Zhengzhou section will open in Sept, Zhengzhou-Shijiazhuang will open by the end of the year.

Have these news been disproven?

What shall the best train time Dalian-Shenyang-Harbin be next Sunday?

Actually after some more digging I was wrong about the July 15th date, that's the old opening date, and now appears to be deadline to start calibration and testing, which only started last week with 5 specially modified (Cold Weather Package) CRH380B trainsets. The testing and trials will last 150 days, confirming an opening date at the end of the year or January 2013. Minster Shen descended on Harbin-Dalian PDL construction site last month and he was not amused about its progress, so additional resources were pledged, apparently the higher ups are not happy with the progress of overall HSR construction speed.

Will that's unlikely at least in the beginning because it requires those special trainsets to run and it'll be another dedicated 300km/h line, so I doubt they will run D trains from Beijing on it.

I don't think they are going to make the August date, the last piece of track was laid down on May 2nd, the entire line was energized on June 28th, hot rolling test started on July 2nd, first CRH test train will arrive on July 16th. With all the testings going on we are looking at October as the earliest opening date, personally I think the actual opening date will be around the same time as Harbin-Dalian at the end of this year.
