Tongzhou and Baodi certainly. The plans seem to fluctuate with the phase of the moon, but a branch line Tongzhou-Baodi-Tangshan/Tianjin airport Binhai is the part that hasn't changed. Xianghe between Tongzhou and Baodi also seems fixed, but where in Tongzhou and how and whether to connect to central Beijijng is less clear. Same with what other stations in the Langfang exclave if any would be included.

Same with Tongzhou and Yizhuang (and presumably the two airports). Sometimes metro, but lately it seems to be intercity.

China’s first high-speed rail through the Qin Mountains completed its preliminary checks on Monday. The 509-kilometer Xi’an-Chengdu high-speed rail, linking Xi’an in northwestern China’s Shaanxi province to Chengdu in southwestern China’s Sichuan province, is a key component of the nation’s goal to build a sprawling railway network. The new line cuts the travel time between the two cities from 16 hours to just three. (via Xinhua)

Will the giant highway they are building right next to it, also be covered in a tube?

The speed of cars on highways does not pose as much risk as the high speed trains, but some sound barriers don't hurt I guess. We will see.

Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed trains to begin operation on Dec. 6
http://www.china.org.cn/business/201...t_50083251.htm

High-speed trains linking Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, and Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, will begin operation on Dec. 6, authorities said Sunday.

Tickets for the trains are available for purchase from 6 p.m. Sunday, according to railway authorities in Xi'an.

The Xi'an-Chengdu high-speed rail route covers a distance of 658 km. A total of 19 trains will run in each direction during the initial phase.

With a new train diagram to be put into operation at the end of this year, travel time between the two cities will be slashed by about 7 hours to just 3 hours and 27 minutes.

A high-speed train runs along the railway that links Xi'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province with Chengdu in Southwest China's Sichuan Province. This section of the high-speed railway line will start offering commercial services starting from Wednesday, marking the completion of this particular section. The total mileage of the national high-speed rail is expected to reach 30,000 kilometers by 2020, media reports said in November.
