Sree Vadakkumnatha[Lord Shiva] Temple, Thrissur
 This is also known as Dakshina Kailasam. It is built in traditional kerala architectural style. Sree Vadakkumnatha blessed Adi Shankaracharya in this temple.  This temple has historical importance. The main idol of this temple Kannaki, who is heroine of famous Tamil Classic "Chilappathikaram". Devi exists here in the form of Kannaki. |
