The first 3 pics are of Estancia. Next 3 pics are of a residential project at Guduvanchery. Next two pics are a residential project at Urapakkam and the final one is again a residential project near Vandalur zoo.

It is high time that Chennai city limit should be extended up to Chengalpet(At least Vandalur).

Hope so the new govt will take necessary steps to extend the city limit.

Looks like its commercial space in the front block on the few bottom floors..

But there is no much info about this project in their website except this render.

I think, a new road must come up, by-passing all these stretches upto Chengalpet, so that it will reduce half of the traffic upto Chengalpet. It will be too difficult to convert this road to a 6 lane upto Villupuram / Tindivanam, with the current traffic.

It'll be too difficult to widen this road, but it'll be easier to create an entirely new road from scratch through existing settlements?

I am thinking why not build an an elevated arm from Chengulpet which would link IRR ,ORR and Chennai By Pass . It could be elevated and run South to North and pass through Oragdam(Vandalaur-Wallajabad) , over ORR and Terminate with an Interchange at the Chennai ByPass . In future it could even be extended to IRR . This will enable freight and container traffic to move between these expressways and bypass the Kathipara Chengulpet stretch completely . In short even though we end up having circular express ways like Bypass,IRR,ORR we need N-S/S-N Connectors to complete the Grid .

No, Railway portion yet to start. Ramps towards the GST side is also pending.
