Latest Statistics on Sudan's oil production

I've been trying to determine the distribution of Sudan's oil production the difficulty with this is that old figures are mixed with new figures in any case I think I've managed t filter out the older Sources.


Sudan's current oil production stands at 450,000 barrels.

The South Produces 350,000 Barrels

The North Produces 100,000 Barrels

As of this week 6 new wells in northern Sudan are being connected to the Main export Pipeline increasing Sudan's Production to 480,000 Barrels and and the North's production to 130,000 Barrels.

Also a well is being drilled in the Darfur/Kordufan border area with results expected in December the 15th.

Any info on the well drilling in the Red Sea? There's a big platform located off Tokar delta region. Have they found anything?

Unfortunately no news yet, Chinese companies rarely give progress updates until they've completed drilling.
