Yeah it does, however, I think it looks a lot more modern than american cities though, maybe its the glassy boxes and the green surrounding. I think it looks like Houston to be honest or something like that

a lot of american skyscrapers are older and its almost impossible to build new stuff what with all the procedures and nimby lawsuits -_-

but yes ningbo reminds me a lot of midwest cities

All the cities looks so western. There's not much chinese about that, which is a little sad I think, but it's a small world and every country want a bite of the western fairytale. I'm just glad to see chinese cities looking so fresh and green

I doubt that. Tianjin and Chongquing and Ningbo are too Chinese sounding if there were such a word. Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen just flows easily, like how most people prefer to say Calcutta over Kolkata. I was specifically talking about spelling though.

Anyhow, alot of these Chinese cities have impressive skylines, even more so than most major cities of the world. Time can only tell, but I still stick to my reason that the cities names will hold it back from being remembered
