Heard about this a few weeks ago. Apparently is going to be a premier Inn.

Crown House 'Boho Six' regeneration is a
beacon of enterprise in Middlesbrough,

by Iain Laing, The Journal, February 6th 2013

Nassir Din outside Boho Six

THE sixth in a series of buildings designed to host young businesses has opened in Middlesbrough. DigitalCity started Boho Zone in 2009 and now a 1960s office building in the centre of Middlesbrough is being refurbished as shops and offices are marketed as Boho Six. Teesside businessman Nasser Din, managing director of Supreme Property Developments, is redeveloping the building.

Din said: “It’s fantastic to be able to join the Boho cluster which has been a beacon of enterprise in Middlesbrough. “Crown House: Boho Six will help regenerate not only the building but also the area around it to develop the ideal working environment for businesses to bring more life into the Town Centre. We’re excited to be working with DigitalCity to add to the Boho Zone and attract new commerce into Middlesbrough.”

As well as redeveloping the offices, the square outside Crown House will be opened up by raised beds, trees and new paving with street furniture and lighting are giving the square a more contemporary feel. The railway underpass has also been remodelled to make the area more inviting, as well as an innovative low energy lighting system that is transforming the space beneath the A66 flyover, to provide a more attractive and user-friendly route through to Middlehaven at night.

Mark Elliott, chief executive, of DigitalCity Business, said: “We are literally seeing our vision for the area coming to reality. “We are up to Boho Six in just a handful of years – the Boho Zone is helping to drive the regeneration of Middlesbrough Town Centre.

Staggeringly good news. Very proud of Boho. I must admit, I was sceptical when they laid out the vision for the digital quarter, but it's certainly chugging along nicely. Six of them! When it's going to stop? 7, 8, 9, 10... Long may it continue.

Have they finished the external works to Crown House Boho 6? It looks half done.

Also, Boho 6? You have the cluster of three, Gibson House Boho 5, and this. Where's Boho 4? Is it the live-work unit? I didn't realize it had anything to do with Boho.

Anyway, six. Great news.
