I think the Brightline is one of the most attractive train the US has ever made. It's name fits Florida's nickname as 'the Sunshine State'.

Its a shame its only 4 cars though. Should be at least 6 to 8 cars...

It starts at 5 cars in the middle of 2017. It will expand to 7 once services extend to Orlando at the end of that year.

Also, what are the light rail plans in Florida, as none of the trams seen in the video appear to exist yet?

Oh for.

I can't BELIEVE that the DC-Baltimore Maglev is going ahead. That thing is an over-expensive, under-ridden, gadgetbahn. On its own it will NEVER have adequate ridership, and the cost of an extension to NYC is prohibitive for anybody other than the feds, who will NEVER pony up the money for it.

I'd be surprised if that's the case. Having an end car (with seating) that has the same style front as the loco isn't uncommon though.
