You Ripper! 1-0 to the Roar over CCM. The boys have done it again.

Birkish, you at least got one right this weekend.

Poor Cul. I wonder if he is still boycotting the competition?

Looks like Ange has worked his magic again with the Roar's new signings.

Who needs marque media darlings when you can have a team of good players.

Lol

Brisbane still looking good despite the long off season & changes in personell. Still got a few cobwebs to blow out over the next few weeks, but that's to be expected. Issey Farran looks to be a good addition to the side, good dribbling skills in tight areas. Berisha was a little quiet but he hasn't played in quite a while, hopefully he will come good as the teams gels a bit more. Still got Adnan & Henrique to come into the team yet as well.

I went to the Roar game with the whole family and had a great time as usual
Roar are rusty up front but very good everywhere else -0 coulda/shoulda been 4 or 5 nil
Me thinks another flag is imminent - back to back!

The final 2 matches GCU drew 1-all with WPX and Perth beat Adelaide 1-0.

I didn't see the game but is Thomas Broich still playing with the Roar?

There's our equivalent of a marque player then, he is an outstanding player.

True that, but now that they have the money why not get a marquee player as well? As long as they can hang onto Broich within the cap. Only problem is they have used up all of their foreign player spots. That means that either one would have to go or they would have to find an Aussie marquee. Other than that, there is talk Henrique might take up citizenship.

Lets wait to see a few more matches before we start talking of back to back titles. Going on the A Leagues history, champions struggle the year after a flag.

The new FFA website has a half decent match centre that includes the attendance. Located just above the results box at the bottom.

Adelaide have beaten Melbourne Victory 1-0.

Got to see the season is interesting from the get go.
