There has been too many mudslinging here. Can we not talk about this? Let's just talk about the matches and the facilities.

Anyway, the matches yesterday was interesting as Japan almost went down but manage to get the equalizer. Saudi lost but fought hard to get a consolation goal. For tonight's match, India-Australia and South Korea-Bahrain. Any predictions? For me, Australia may take the game but India may surprise, while South Korea and Bahrain may draw.

Why do the Anti Qatar ranting about it.... Come on give Qatar a chance to host wonderful successful world cup like South Africa did. 11 years is still long time to development.

Nah, it is not going to be that easy. India is in a revival of sorts for football so we have to wait and see the match tonight. Seriously, it is too damn unpredictable.

That would be a nice scenario. But I haver my doubts....
India could be passed by Australia. Bahrain though could resist strongly.

Today Australia VS India will be held in the smallest stadium of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup (Al-Sadd Stadium ~15K) There should be no excuse for this stadium to be lacking supporters (Indians consist of the largest expat community living in Qatar) not to mention the strong socceroos support.

I agree, there is absolutely no pressure on India's team, and when a team plays in tournament with no pressure, they might pull something off.

My prediction is a win for Australia, but not an easy one.

Okay, Australia just scored a goal thanks to Tim Cahill. That was quick.

tell me about it !! we need a new coach and new team, a team that consist of only nationals.... when will they learn

no one was surprised that we lost and and I actually would prefer to see them lose all the coming matches, maybe then we will see some results..

Okay, I stand corrected. They seriously need to improve. I mean a country the size of India, there is bound to be talented players. Then again, India is more known for cricket/hockey than football.

Ffs, guys give up on these rants. This is about the 2011 Asian cup. If it's not related to this event, take it elsewhere. Some arguments made from both sides go nowhere but to fuel the situation.

Australia played ok today, but after a while they just lost intensity and got lazy. India were out of their depth by a long way and were lucky it was not 8 or 9 to 0. They tried hard but there's a long way to go for football there. I was expecting more from them, as Australia usually struggle against such sides.

Which is why I'm not replying to any of these rants anymore. i don't want to see yet another Qatar thread locked because of these idiotic rants.

Congrats on the win today btw, that was a good display.
