Local Transport Hub at Europaplatz Graz

The existing tram terminal loop in the area in front of the station got resituated underground, to make space for the various means of transportation, to connect all the tram lines to the station and to improve ease of transfer between them.
An attractive shelter from the elements was created at the entrance to the tram stop at Graz Main station in the form of an extensive ring-shaped roof. The 80m long subterranean tram platforms opens to natural light via generous apertures in the ceiling. The remodelling of the surface area as an urban space takes account of Europaplatz's central role as a transport junction.

By saying Graz is dangerous, does that mean crime, i.e. there is a higher risk of somebody being attacked or mugged, or does that mean the transport is not designed as safely as that in other Austrian cities, ie, chance of collisions or injury is higher.

And if it does mean crime, then which suburbs within Graz are higher risk and which suburbs are lower risk?

I shall be visiting Graz next year, so I wish to be aware. Thanks!

You'll most likely get roofied.

To put the most dangerous city of Austria into perspective: It is still only 1/10 of the crimes recorded in Frankfurt per 100.000 inhabitants. You'll be fine in any part of the town.
