IMO, its not really big deal if a certain store/resto/bank sa isa ka locality nag closed maybe wala nila na reach ang expectation sang pumuluyo, or it could be the kind of service they had, the taste of their food or simply wala demand. Better consider the option to close kaysa sa magputo kag malugi pa gid and find another alternatives or business na click and hot sa isa ka lugar.

May nabal an ko gani nga biskan ara na gid sa big city nag closed pa. Nobody knows...

Well, accepted ta na ya migs and na intyendehan nga may ara mga stores or companies that cant ride on the timing of economy and the taste of the population sang Negros. Lacson Street could attest to that when it was called sa Lonely Planet in the early 1990's as..."an area where restaurants and bars open and close and change form time to time"....amo man ang Goldenfields may mga ups and downs man.

Why linger on the past kun may ara man lang bag-o....at least the change is mostly for the better. Amu na kuno mo diri sa kalibutan "survival of the fittest". Gerry's Grill had its issues nga wala ma resolve and wala manami-an sang taga diri. Remember KFC opening in Bacolod much later than it was expected? The fear of selling chicken over an area well known for a chicken cuisine. Mga amu na bala.

But kun tulukon mo kung ano nga mga restos, shops and boutiques ang naga survive sa Bacolod?....those local shops with even expensive rates last long enough against time-tested multi-national ones. I think maka attest na sa preference of Negrenses and even their present buying power.

Remember sang wala pa diri SM, Giordano, Hang Ten, etc. Bacolodnons and Negrenses would make use of their payday money and bonuses para magkadto lang to, mag shopping kag mag-balik. Te? indi na bala proof sang batasan kag kultura diri nga investors and businessman would like when it comes to putting up businesses? Mabakal gid awto sa Manila, mapa-Ayala kag Rustans gid sa Cebu or Manila. Amu na ang na realize nila subong that "business is also good in Bacolod" and not only in regional hubs and metro cities near Metro Manila.

Tumpak na Tumpak ka guid ya DOC... amo na gani ya, come and go sila pero balik man sila gihapon ah... ang Figaro is set to open again a branch in Bacolod pero stand-alone na sha... pero kung wala man guid, sorry sila eh... damu pa di mas nami nga coffee shops sa Bacolod... kung gusto mo naman Original Stuffs, ara man ang Pelts and other Local Stores sa Bacolod that sells originals (except of course sa Pelts Robinsons Place) hehehehe
