Huge! Massive! Gargantuan!

Wow! This would undoubtedly become the single largest rail-based construct ever!

Wow how many platforms will this Hongqiao station have? Is it bigger than Shanghai South Railway station?

I doubt it. Even in China there's larger rail-related construction efforts.

Eitherway, nice airport.

it'll be a decent size, but probably won't be the largest. Afterall it's a highspeed passanger only terminal.

It look so big because it includes an airport and public transit terminal as well.

What's the status of the maglev on this? I think shanghai really need the maglev to connect the two airports. I'll be useful.

Shanghai West Railway Station would be a good guess.

The construction speed of this project is just amazing. The design is quite unique for a Chinese airport as most don't look like that. Design reminds me of airports in Europe or Japan. Can't wait to see the inside.

It seems that this project will save the Shanghai Municipality government a lot of money, cz it looks not as luxury as the Beijing Capital international airport's terminal 3.
Dose anybody know who design this complex? guess it was design by the Local Xiandai Architectural Design Group, wasn't it?

I have a feeling this airport interior would be better than that of Beijing T3. Pudong terminal two in my opinion interior wise is much more pleasing and elegant than Beijing's.
