Najaf allocates $1.3 million to sports clubs

Najaf, June 30 (AKnews) - Najaf province allocated IQD1.5 billion ($1.3 million) to support sports clubs in the province today.

Mouhammed al-Khuzaei, the media spokesman for the provincial council told AKnews that the Sports and Youth Committee distributed the amount allocated for the sports clubs as follows: IQD500 million to support the sports activities of the Najaf Football Club, as well as 500 IQD million for the rehabilitation of the club's stadium, IQD200 million for Kufa club and IQD50 million for all other licensed clubs.

New 10,000 spectator sports arena in Karbala

KARBALA / Aswat al-Iraq: The Ministry of Youth and Sports agreed to erect an arena for Karbala's Sports Club with a capacity for ten thousand spectators, within the Ministry's plan for 2012, club secretary announced today.

Mohammed Abbas told Aswat al-Iraq that the board and club's spectators plan to evaluate the role of Minister Jassim Mohammed Jaffar in supporting the activities of the club, which will result in new winning rounds in the coming football season.

haha loool the interior of that stadium is okay but the exterior..... and what did they do with the olympic stadium. the interior looks erhm, not so nice, before was better. but at least they are doing something for the people, good thing

the colours and the quality of work is horrific!! blue and orange? really...
they need to send colour coordinators over there immediately lol...why not go for different shades of grey...or grey and pale yellow...

Baghdad Municipality to establish two football fields in Karkh and Rusafa

Municipality of Baghdad started to set up pitches for football in the capital, with a capacity of 5,000 spectators each court in accordance with the specifications approved by the International Federation of Football "FIFA".
An official source said that Turkish Tarmash Construction Co. contracting with the Municipality of Baghdad began the work of preparing the land for the establishment of two playgrounds for football with a capacity of five thousand spectators per stadium, one in the Karkh district and another in Rusafa.", And added that "the court one will be implemented in the region of the flame in Karkh and the second in the region is aging and deer (crumb and thirst) in the Rusafa and design a global matching of the parameters and criteria adopted by the International Federation of Football "FIFA." and that "each court, these stadiums will contain strips on the sides and fresh ground industrial according to the specifications World and a track for athletics and field with sports halls, interior and galleries exercises for fitness and bathrooms as well as a compartment of honor key for the guests, adding that" these stadiums will host a lot of events and tournaments and sporting activities as part of the extensive support and unlimited paid by the Municipality of Baghdad for the youth and sports sector and interest sports movement in the capital Baghdad.

امانة بغداد تباشر بإنشاء ملعبي كرة قدم بسعة 5000 آلاف متفرج في جانبي الكرخ والرصافة

باشرت أمانة بغداد أعمال التهيئة لانشاء ملعبين لكرة القدم في العاصمة بسعة 5000 الاف متفرج لكل ملعب على وفق المواصفات المعتمدة من قبل الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم" الفيفا".

وقال مصدر مسؤول إن " شركة (تارماش) الانشائية التركية المتعـاقدة مع امانة بغداد باشرت أعمال تهيئة الارض لانشاء ملعبين لكرة القدم بسعة خمسة الاف متفرج لكل ملعب احدهما في جانب الكرخ والاخر في جانــب الرصــافة ".، وأضاف ان " الملعب الاول سينفذ في منطقة الشعلة في جانب الكرخ والثاني في منطقة ام الكبر والغزلان (كسرة وعطش) في جانب الرصافة وبتصاميم عالمية مطابقة للمحددات والمعايير المعتمدة من قبل الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم"الفيفا". وبين أن " كل ملعب من هذين الملعبين سيحوي مدرجات على الجانبين وفرش الارضية بالثيل الصناعي على وفق المواصفات العالمية ومضماراً لالعاب الساحة والميدان مع قاعات رياضية داخلية وصالات تمارين للياقة البدنية وحمامات الى جانب وجود مقصورة الشرف الرئيسة للضيوف ".، مشيرا الى ان " هذين الملعبين سيحتضنان كثيرا من الفعاليات والبطولات والانشطة الرياضية في اطار الدعم الواسع واللامحدود الذي توليه امانة بغداد لقطاع الشباب والرياضة والاهتمام بالحركة الرياضية في العاصمة بغداد.

New sports city in Diala

DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: The individual responsible for sports in Diala announced that the Ministry of Youth completed all formalities to build a new sports city in the province, instead of the U.S.
old military camp.

Haitham Abdul Sattar told Aswat al-Iraq that the sports city will contain a football stadium with a capacity for 30,000 spectators, halls, swimming pools and a 5-star hotel, in addition to other sports facilities.

Baaquba, the center of Diala province, lies 57 km northeast of the capital, Baghdad.
