La Carreta, Montevideo

Inaugurated on October 14, 1934, is located in Montevideo, in the park José Batlle y Ordoñez on Avenida Lorenzo Merola. It was declared a historical monument in 1976, recalls the classic mode of transportation of cargo, used by men in the field. It was made in bronze and its base is made of pink granite.

Montevideo, Uruguay

Opened in 1922 and is located at Av Graceful and Lucas Obes. It is made of bronze and gray granite. This monument represents the transport carriage passenger existncia used before the train.

And the most interesting, this is the Glykon. This statue was discovered in Tomis (modern day Constanta) in 1962 and its the only one of its kind in the world. It is over two thousand years old and about a meter in height.
